I am honored to serve as your Councilwoman. I was elected to the Town Board in November, 2009 and have enjoyed a long history of serving the residents of the Town on the Zoning Board, Comprehensive Plan Committee, Wynantskill Union Free School District Board of Education and as a former small business owner in town.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Developing sound budgets and implementing good controls to manage those budgets are a priority, including a detailed review of spending so that we can help reduce the burden on taxpayers.
YOUTH
As a member of the Board of Education, I know the importance of committing time to our youth. Providing quality educational and recreational services to our children is my priority.
SENIORS
I know what it’s like to serve the seniors of the Capital Region. For the past 21 years I have worked to develop new projects for their enjoyment. As co-chairperson of the town’s Senior Citizens Committee, I will continue to serve as liaison to the Town Board so that those important issues concerning our seniors are properly addressed.
STATE GOVERNMENT
As aide to a former NYS Assemblyman, I have navigated through county and state issues and will continue that work in coordination with our federal, state and local officials.
I am excited about entering this phase of my career and I hope you will all join me in celebrating all the great things that are the Town of North Greenbush.
