EXPERIENCE
Jessica Merola was first elected to the Town Board in 2020 where she also serves as Chair of the Town Youth Committee and as the Climate Smart Communities Coordinator for the Town Board. Jessica has more than 15 years’ experience in the public sector and is currently employed with New York State Department of Health. Jessica has extensive budgetary and management experience through her professional and governmental service that benefits all residents.
PERSONAL
A lifelong County resident, Jessica and her husband Michael, a Troy Police Officer, live in the Wynantskill section of town with their two children Vincenzo and Giuliana. Jessica is also extensively involved in the town’s community and athletic programs, serving as past Co-President of the Wynantskill UFSD Parent Teacher Association.
When not at work, Jessica can be found cheering her children on the sidelines of basketball, lacrosse, football and cheerleading events.
